Plan C is a fiscally sponsored project of NEO Philanthropy, a US 501(c)3 nonprofit (EIN 13-3191113) . All donations are to NEO Philanthropy, and are tax-deductible to the extent of the law.

Tax receipts for all donations of $250 or more are issued at the end of each quarter. If you need a tax receipt for a donation lower than this amount, or before the end of the quarter, let us know with an email to donations@plancpills.org.

Give via Donor Advised Fund (DAF) or other online giving portal
A donation from your Donor Advised Fund (DAF) can help sustain information for the long-term while providing tax benefits to you.
You can make a donation from your DAF by selecting “NEO Philanthropy” as your charity (EIN 13-3191113), and in the memo, note or “in honor of” please add “Plan C.”

Give by ACH, wire, or stock transfer
Plan C can accept these forms of giving via our fiscal sponsor, NEO Philanthropy. Gifts of appreciated stock or mutual funds can increase your philanthropic impact while also providing tax incentives and benefits to you.

Workplace matching gift
Ask your employer about their matching gift and workplace giving programs. Some companies will double or even triple your donation, and/or match donations made by spouses, retirees, and board members.
If your company uses a portal for matching gifts, look for the name of Plan C’s fiscal sponsor, NEO Philanthropy. Matching gifts should be designated to NEO Philanthropy “for the benefit of Plan C.”

Give from your IRA+
If you’re 72 or older, you may be able to take advantage of the tax benefit of making a qualified charitable distribution (QCD) directly from your IRA. When you direct your QCD to a nonprofit (like us!), you’ll support the abortion pill movement while minimizing paying tax on that distribution. Some gifts can also fulfill Required Minimum Distribution from 401(k) accounts.
Consult your tax preparer or banker for more info, and contact donations@plancpills.org so we can track your gift.

All donations directly support our communications campaigns, partnerships and research aimed at normalizing self-directed care and changing the landscape of abortion access in the U.S.
This includes maintaining our robust platform of resources, amplifying our strategic communications nationwide, supporting partners and creators, and improving the online search for evidence-based information.
Over the past decade, we have reached tens of millions of people with information on self-directed abortion options, as well as catalyzing new telehealth services as they come online, supporting new research initiatives on the method and its outcomes, partnering on national and local creative campaigns, and bolstering an ecosystem of resources for the abortion seeker via hotlines, funds and assistance programs.
